He’s the extremely hot guy of the show ‘All my Children‘. Hey, I like his teeth, I mean he has a very sweet smile and you just can’t resist him when he is smiling. He’s a cool guy who had stolen heart of his co-star Kelly Ripa in the same show. Now they are married and have three kids.

No news about the role he has to play in Ugly Betty. He could be another love interest of Ugly Betty or he could enter as a new staffer at Betty’s office. He could also be her new neighbor. Or if Betty goes for a journey, she may meet him there and they have a short and peppy chat, because, as far as I know, he will appear only in the third episode. So, a lot many speculations can be made. Like this one, that he could appear as some other girl’s boy friend on the show. So keep guessing because we will know only when the new season will come to our living rooms.

While Ugly Betty is off screen and is in production, I have no choice but to look for some latest updates on Ugly Betty’s upcoming season. You know there are two sections of the Ugly Betty that are my most favorite. One section contains the initial episodes of Ugly Betty, where she gets a new job and unattractive aspects of her personality are highlighted. Then gradually she makes her place a place for herself in her workplace and the lovable personality of Betty is slowly revealed to the audiences. She is intelligent and smart. Beautiful ladies around her prove to be dumb compared to her. She impresses everybody with her intellect and even her worst critics are forced to acknowledge her brains and ignore her looks.

The other favorite section of mine includes those episodes where she falls in love with Henry after breaking up with Walter. Though Henry’s girl friend spoils the scene with the news of pregnancy at the moment when both were having a romantic dinner out there. Both are left heart broken but still continue their relationship.

Anyways, I would like to share what I read about Henry on Buddy TV a few days back. Christopher Gorham playing Henry Grubstick is going to join new series named ‘Harper’s Island’ and he won’t be part of Ugly Betty show anymore. Well I just wish him good luck. Now, you must be wondering what would happen to Betty’s love affair with Henry when he is absent from the show.

Well, Betty is going to get a new love interest in the coming season since creators of the show won’t leave her alone sobbing in her bedroom. Her new love interest will be Val Emmich. Do you know him? Off course you know him, he’s a Pop singer and has once rocked the 30 Rock by his guest appearance and now will rock Betty’s life. Cool. Hey buddies! Do you know ladies in the Ugly Betty have charmed the Emmy’s jury completely? There are three ladies from the show in the list of nominees. No other show has bagged as many places in the nomination list, especially in the field of acting. Well, the most obvious name from the show is, America Ferrera, who has bagged the nomination for Best lead actress in a comedy series. Now you must be wondering about the other two names. Guys, those two are Judith Light (Clair Meade) and Vanessa Williams (Wilhelmina Slater). Yeah, I know many are surprised but I am sure many others must be expecting these names on the list.

Well I suppose America Ferrera is the most popular name in the list as she had won the same title in 2007 too. I think this year too she has a good chance to win as other nominees don’t have as strong and well defined characters as hers. I wish her luck, as Ugly Betty is my favorite character, as it is very close to real life. I like intelligent and talented Betty who gives inferiority complex to the other beautiful women around her.

On the other hand, Vanessa too deserves the crown as she plays the gray shaded character very effectively. Her cunning moves and her aspirations are expressed deftly by her facial expressions and it could be the reason that she caught the Jury’s attention and got a place in the nominations list.

The other name Judith Light came as a surprise to me, but after I downloaded the episodes of Ugly Betty and gave a close look to her character then it became apparent to met that she really deserves the nomination because there was not much scope of showing her talent in her role as a mother of Daniel but her amazing work made her noticeable in the show.

But since she is competing with another member of the same show, as Judith and Vanessa, both have been nominated as best supporting actresses in Comedy, her chances to win a Emmy seems remote to me.

Remember? The mean girl of the Ugly Betty show aired on 22nd of May this year? You got it right, its Lindsay Lohan. She is the latest entry into ‘Anti-Emmy race’. I call it a race as she did exactly what Katherine Heigl did a few days back. The 21 year old actress has decided to skip being nominated for the prestigious Emmy Awards, insisting that her appearance was too short for the Emmy.

Her publicist Leslie Sloane Zelnick explained on her behalf that it was a small guest appearance and she is looking forward to doing more episodes. She is rumored to have signed on for a recurring role in the show when it returns next season. Apparently, she is gunning for an Emmy win in 2009. We wish her the best of luck.

Lohan made a guest appearance in season 2 finale of ABC’s ‘Ugly Betty‘ as an old schoolmate of America Ferrera’s character Betty Suarez. No doubt, the actress is very talented.

She is a model since her childhood, and an exceptional actress and a Pop singer. But she has always received less media attention for her acting, and singing careers and more for her controversial lifestyle. Most of the times she remains in news for her multiple arrests, as well as, for her alcohol and drug abuse.

I must say that the episode had a brilliant plot as Burning Questions gave us clever dialogues and many cute moments also. It was mostly setting the stage for the story to proceed and things to start happening. Renee’s storyline was out of the way but served as season’s bigger issue.

Okay, let’s start from Renee, at first she seemed like a big threat to Wilhelmina but she took handled with very little effort. We also got a very good look at Renee’s personal history.

Cheers for Gabrielle Union who deserves credit for getting the character as far as she could. Episode was good from comic point of view and Christian Siriano provided most of the comic relief in this episode. It was good to know that Christina will be released from the baby jail once the baby is safely en route. I think Betty and Henry should spend most of their time together. Honestly, it doesn’t seem that Betty developed any feelings for Gio as Henry was not around much.

I do want to see Daniel and Betty together and I think this episode was especially for me or for those who want to see Betty with Daniel. How sweet of Daniel who even after Renee’s meltdown, believes that Betty still had feelings for him.
It may be a misunderstanding as the episode ends with Henry kissing Betty. Oh! Poor Daniel, I hope something good would happen with you man! All the very best to Daniel. Some of the interesting lines from episode

Naomi Campbell is ready to follow the footprints of Fashion Queen Victoria Beckham as she has accepted a cameo in hit TV series Ugly Betty.

According to show’s star Becki Newton, who plays receptionist Amanda; we’ll see her in the upcoming second series finale. She said, “She’s going to be in our last episode, which is exciting. I’ve personally requested that I won’t stand next to her because Amanda would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person.
