Yeah… we will see Ugly Betty fame America Ferrara very soon on big screen. The lady will star in an upcoming project named ‘American Tragic’ along with Melissa Leo. Most probably, shooting will begin in the beginning of February, 2009. This is really not enough so much to your surprise, she’ll also exec produce the movie.
Well, those who loved her in ‘Ugly Betty’ will surely like to see her opposite a newcomer Ryan O’ Nan. He’s a young war veteran struggling to find redemption. Our heartthrob, America will play his wife whereas Melissa Leo is set to play his mother. America was also seen in a lead role in the recent movie ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ but this is the first movie where she’ll be also seen behind the scenes. Well, I am pretty excited to watch her but unluckily, I’ll have to wait till the mid of 2009.
Sometimes I think that Ferrara has also done in her real life what she portrayed on ‘Ugly Betty’. On series, she appears as a girl who’s not very beautiful but is very intelligent. She combats the beautiful fishes of the sea of beauty with her intelligence and proves herself the Ms. Perfect. Same is here in her real life. She’s not very good-looking but still she has made a very secure place for herself in the entertainment world. The lady has attracted the stares of everyone and the whole credit of ‘Ugly Betty’s success goes to her.
As of now, ‘Ugly Betty’ is running with third successful season. Recent episode entitled ‘When Betty Met YETI’ was aired on November 20, 2008. Next episode will be aired on December 4, 08 and will be entitled ‘Bad Amanda’. Get ready to catch it.
